Hello World! Welcome to Aurora Acres

As you may have noticed, the site is very much still under construction. If you found this page, welcome! Aurora Acres will be a wonderful place because of people like you being part of our community. As of this writing, we don't even have a Facebook page set up yet - but don't worry! Soon, everything will be up and running.

We are a fledgling aviary looking to spread our wings in Stuttgart, Germany. I am currently in the process of moving to Stuttgart (I'm writing this from the U.S.) and we don't even have our lines established yet. But everyone has to start somewhere!

I plan on using this blog to chronicle our journey to becoming a wonderful place to find your new feathered family member. There will doubtless be bumps along the way, and I will do my best to be transparent and honest about those, too! Hopefully it can help someone along the line.

Finally, this blog will be in English, and I doubt I will attempt to have it translated down the line. I speak very little German myself and hired a translator for the rest of the site, and most of what I post here will likely be more along the lines of updates and musings than anything. Sorry for any inconvenience!
